■Outline of the Education Program
The Graduate School of Sciences introduced a new interdisciplinary education system consisting of the Front Researcher Development Program, which launched in 2005, and the Advanced Scientist Development Program, which launched in 2007.
The programs were developed to achieve the realization of an admissions policy of cultivating young researchers who will lead in cutting edge science research well into the next generation, and to produce professionals who will contribute to society in their own fields of natural science. All of the graduate students are to join one of these programs, depending on their interests, and the school will provide customized supervision for each individual.
