Clarification of conditions of "Sustainable Community Based Resource Management" is essential to make better life for local people and solve global issues such as global warming in Asian countries under decentralization. This study classified local resources into "Forest Resource" and other resources ( "Conventional Resource", "New Resource", and "Human resource"), and analyzed the organic link among the local resources and the condition of its sustainable use.

In addition, we held "Asia Local Resource Workshop" to discuss about the conditions of sustainable local resource management comprehensively and consider the way of feedback of research results by Kyushu University which contributes to strengthening of collaboration with Asian countries and the international cooperation.
