Mental health of university students has been a critical issue, it is essential to build more appropriate system. To support considerable number of students, providing preventive education and effective intervention is important. In this study, we examined an association between the university students' mental health status and lifestyle habit, school condition. Then, we explored the results as baseline data to create a new system.

Main results are as following; (1) Students who had "bad or very bad" self -related health status and "irregular hours" lifestyle reported higher depression score (CES-D) than those who didn't. (2) Students who felt comfortable in their campus or could consult to their friends about studying difficulties reported lower CES-D score, while students who worried about the cost for campus life or took a long time to commute reported higher CES-D score. (3) Students who studied for at least 1 hour a day and did exercise regularly reported higher QOL (Quality of Life) score and SOC (Sense of Coherence) score than those who didn't.

Further research will be needed to elucidate the relationship between life style factor and their mental health status.
